The Bay Area is notorious for long permit approval times and high construction costs. The goal is to navigate these constraints with the best possible outcome. While each project is unique, I prefer to include as many stakeholders as possible early in the design. Consultants and contractors will have the opportunity to weigh in during the conceptual stages, inform design options and cost estimates. CDA oversees the permit application project, and is performs construction observation.
